Robin missed the fir...The timing is great, Suzanne! Robin missed the first part of 'bild' (is 'Art' a good translation?) this week due to a doctor's appointment and they were exploring fear and encouraged to draw something of which they are afraid. Robin wasn't able to think of anything in the class so we've been asked to think about it at home this weekend. All of his usual, slight, non-debilitating fears seem perfectly reasonable and it is reassuring for you to express in this post that many of children's fears ARE perfectly reasonable. Homework time with Robin next and I'm thinking about his fear of jumping into deep water in the swimming pool .... the sort of fear that I'm quite happy for him to have (and wish was contagious to spread to his younger brother!) but hoping he will have an idea that we can work with instead.
